Feely Piano’s Method for Self Assessment

In Feely Piano School’s lessons, we use our custom made journal notebooks.  These help students track goals and achieve success.  These notebooks were created from our academic advisor’s PHD research.  Learn more about Pat Feely’s research here.

What we applied from Pat’s research

Not only in music lessons Mississauga but in all locations, our piano teachers use our notebooks.  We have students set goals on a monthly basis. The teacher works with the students to achieve these goals to see success. At the end of a month, the teachers revisit the goals with students.  An in home performance at the end of the month helps teachers assess if the goal was achieved.
